Privacy Policy

1. Who this covers

This notice describes how Vice Engine collects and uses information when studios create accounts, run trials, manage bookings, and when end customers use studio planning or profile features on the platform.

2. Information we collect

• Account information: studio name, legal/business name, owner or authorized contact name, email, region (Canada or United States), and authentication data.
• Billing information: payment method and subscription details processed by Stripe. Vice Engine does not store full card numbers on its servers.
• Operational data: studio configuration, schedules, appointment requests, intake answers, Atlas plans, and related studio records you choose to store.
• Technical data: IP address, user agent, consent timestamps, cookies/session tokens needed for sign-in and security, and basic service logs.

3. How we use information

• Provide, secure, and improve the Service
• Verify email addresses and communicate about accounts, trials, billing, and support
• Process subscriptions and prevent fraud or abuse
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms

4. Sharing

We share information with processors that help run the Service (for example email delivery and Stripe payment processing), with your instructions as a studio when serving your customers, and when required by law. We do not sell personal information.

5. Retention

We retain account and operational records for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Deletion and export controls for customer piercing records continue to evolve; production retention schedules will be finalized with counsel.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards such as hashed passwords, HTTP-only sessions, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Your choices

Studio owners can update profile details in the product, cancel subscriptions before trial end to avoid charges, and contact Vice Engine ops about access, correction, or deletion requests. End customers should contact the relevant studio for studio-held records and may use in-product privacy tools where available.

8. International users

At launch the Service is offered in Canada and the United States. If you access the Service from elsewhere, you understand information may be processed in those regions or in infrastructure used to deliver the Service.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children. Studios remain responsible for age and guardian requirements for their own piercing services.

10. Changes

We may update this notice and will post the revised date. Material changes affecting studios may also be communicated by email or in-product notice.
